Although I think sportscenter 1st and 10 regular, Lebron hating, Tebow loving, loved to be hated newscaster Skip Bayless probably earned his public spanking by Ex-NBA player Jalen Rose should have even bothered with. By calling Bayless out on his non-existant high school basketball carrer Rose not only embarassed a co-worker that he has to work hand in hand with but he opened the door for an airing of past indiscressions.
It brings to mind a saying my uncle uttered often , something along the lines of don't throw stones when living in a glass house. Basically, I took it as don't talk about other mistakes or problems unless you can say you are without any yourself. What i'm saying is that we all have our own demons, we have all made mistakes, have problems, can think of things in our past that we would prefer to keep burried. Before ostrasizing someone elses mistake imagine this person found out about one of your dirty little secrets, how would you feel being questioned about it by an aquaintance let alone on national television, with half the world watching?
I am not smarter then the next guy, no superior, no wiser, i'm just a regular guy with an opinion, what do you guys think? I leave it at this, respect friends, co-workers, strangers, and even though we all have those we don't like and can't respect them as a person, just respect their right to speak that shit you know is just that....shit.
DO unto other as others do unto you.....
