Football Coach Says His Team &Dont Need No Meows, No Cats& In... - StumbleUpon:

This is great, if you have played sports in your life, a lot of them have some sort of periods, quarters, halves, well this coach took the halftime speech to his football team to a whole new level with this one. The idea is to get your team excited, pumped up, even angry at the other team, get ready to hit them in football, knock them back on the line, burst through the hole in football, just get yourself ready to really play a good second half. Whether your on offense getting the ball or on defense kicking it, they really all have the same general pattern and tone, well when you hear this story, your not gonna know exactly what to think......I GUARANTEE IT.

WISH In Indianapolis on Ron Artest/Metta World Peace | Hardwood Paroxysm

WISH In Indianapolis on Ron Artest/Metta World Peace | Hardwood Paroxysm

Personally I actually like Artest so i’ll get that out of the way first but when he went into the stands it was not because some guy yelled names at him, a kid held up a sign saying he “sucked” or some women berated him as he took foul shots and he got angry…….he was hit with not a plastic cup but a plastic cup thrown from several rows up filled with beer that exploded like a grenade direct hit in battleship. What could you possibly be thinking when you decide it’s a good idea to do that to a 6’8″ 240lb brick wall of a man that plays professional sports? Aside from the sheer stupidity, where do you get off thinking that’s cool? or even think that’s not disgusting to do to another person that you just paid to go see?

As you hear athletes say all the time, “just because people buy a ticket to a game they think they can do or say anything they want to us and i think some of them really go too far” Well if some of the words go too far then how about being assaulted? Think about this, I honestly don’t know what i’d do in the same situation, blood pumping, adrenaline going obviously, not only engaged in a intense basketball game but having just gotten into a semi-fight with the other team. I want to think i’d look up and see the scumbag that threw it laughing with his friends and only “let him know what I think of him” until security brings him into his home for the night….the drunk tank most likely but maybe jail if they take it seriously.

Yes I know the city was hurt and not nearly even close to everyone in the city did something to warrant being affected. The entire organization was hurt and I know not all of them warranted that shame. But it’s a two way street guys, the guy has tried to move past this and has done some really good things before and after this mistake in his life. Let’s at least give him the chance to get beyond it.

Floyd Mayweather Jr. remains unbeaten by knocking out Victor Ortiz - ESPN

Floyd Mayweather Jr. remains unbeaten by knocking out Victor Ortiz - ESPN:

'via Blog this'

Overview: Mayweather was dominating the fight with steady right hands and his as advertised vaunted quick defense when in the 4th round Ortiz appeared to headbutt Mayweather intentionally. When the headbutt occurred Mayweather had won each previous round in 2 of the judges scorecards and was ahead 2-1 on the third judges. Coming out of the break, after Ortiz planted a kiss on Floyd's cheek and semi-hugged him in an aparent apology, "Money" Mayweather quickly landed a straight left and then followed with his prototypical right that dazed Ortiz enough to end the fight. Afterword it was a little bit of he did this, he did that, with both sides claiming the standard "I did what I was supposed to do, you should always protect yourself", and the "I followed the referee's instructions exactly and Mayweather swung before I had begun fighting again" ect ect.
The talk before and after were pretty much the standard bravado and everything went just about as expected. Maybe a little quicker then most had planned but overall it was about what you'd expect from a Floyd "Money" Mayweather fight. Lots of talk.....some great defense that keeps the opponent at bay....some controversy inside and outside the ring......and Floyd standing victorious at the end.......THAT'S UNDEFEATED IN 42 PROFESSIONAL FIGHTS INCASE YOU DIDN'T KNOW!
